About Us...

It started with a simple observation: in our high school’s upper-level STEM classes, there were very few girls.

Alexa Chase

    Founder

As high school students who love STEM, we couldn’t ignore it. We knew this wasn’t just a high school issue, but it starts much earlier. Many girls grow up never seeing themselves as scientists, coders, engineers, or inventors. That early lack of exposure shapes the choices they make later on. Research shows that early education plays a vital role in building both confidence and interest, especially in fields like STEM. So, we decided to do something about it.

We created a program that brings hands-on, exciting STEM lessons directly to elementary schools, meeting girls at the perfect age, when their curiosity is blooming and their self-belief is still forming. Each week, our students dive into a different area of science, technology, engineering, or math through interactive labs, fun challenges, and real-world problem-solving. From building spaghetti bridges to making homemade ice cream, every session is a new adventure. Girls are encouraged to test ideas, make mistakes, and try again all in a safe, creative environment designed just for them. What makes our program special is that it’s led by high school girls passionate about STEM and service. As strong role models, we don’t just teach, we inspire. Seeing older students who love and pursue STEM sends a powerful message: “You belong here, too.” But we’re more than just a STEM class. We’re building a community. Every session includes time for bonding, whether it's through silly team games, thoughtful challenges, or sharing stories. These moments create space for mentorship and friendship, making each class something the girls genuinely look forward to.

We launched our program at Wesleyan School in 2024, and the response was overwhelming. Thanks to its success, we’ve since expanded into new elementary schools, nonprofits, and libraries, reaching even more young girls with our mission. We never want cost to be a barrier. That’s why our program is completely free for schools. All materials and supplies are funded through generous community donations where every dollar directly supports a child’s opportunity to engage with STEM in a joyful, meaningful way. We want every girl to leave our program feeling excited, empowered, and capable because STEM should be something they enjoy, something they’re proud of, and something they know they can excel in. We're not just introducing science and technology, we’re helping raise a generation of confident young women ready to build, solve, lead, and dream.

So, help us inspire the next generation in STEM...
